September 15 - AAGT Regional Conference in Tucson
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AAGT will hold a Southern Arizona Regional Conference in Tucson at the Double Tree Hotel at Reid Park September 15, 2007. This Saturday event is an environment for learning and networking, for educators, parents, and others involved in supporting the gifted students in Arizona. This mini-conference is a precursor to the 35th Annual AAGT Conference held in Phoenix in February.

Davidson Institute Announces 2007 Fellows Recipients

Seventeen outstanding young people were selected to receive scholarships and recognition at the Library of Congress.

 Educator SCHOLARSHIPS!

We have recently increased our scholarship appropriations to help teachers seeking gifted endorsements. AAGT will fund 50% (not to exceed $500) of tuition for gifted coursework. Check our website for more information.

AAGT's 34th Annual Conference will be February 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th.

The Quest for Excellence in Educating Arizona's Gifted and Talented
 
 
Please join us for one, two or three days, as well as a special Saturday session on Parenting Gifted Children.

ASU's Programs for Talented Youth
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ASU's Programs for Talented Youth offer talented third through seventh grade students the opportunity to experience challenging courses from a variety of academic disciplines.  The program is designed to provide students with courses that are interdisciplinary, enriching, and stimulating, utilizing the resources of a Research I university.  Currently applications are being accepted for the fall six-week Saturday program.
